Upon hearing about the TEN Moves (The Entire Nation Moves) Program presented by DepEd Assistant Secretary Jess Mateo and Ayala Foundation’s Mario Deriquito at the PNBC Networking Luncheon last 27 September 2012, employees of SN Power Philippines decided to take positive action and participate in the program. In order to do it as a group, they procured two “piggy banks” where the employees drop their coins everyday from October 2012 to until July 2013.

As a show of support to this CSR initiative of the employees, SN Power’s Country Manager Bjorn Holsen agreed to the proposal of the employees that whatever money they raise by July 2013 through the “piggy bank” system, SN Power will match it, thereby doubling the impact/contribution of the employees.

The TEN Moves program of the Department of Education allow individuals to participate by setting aside 10 Pesos for 10 months to support a vision of building 10,000 classrooms nationwide. Companies can also make a pledge through: http://www.tenmoves.org/make-your-pledge/
