TAPULANGA FOUNDATION TO HOLD SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS
PNBC members would recall that late last year at the CSR-focused Networking Luncheon of the Council, the President of Tapulanga Foundation (www.tapulanga.org), Dr. Joan Ledesma-Millonado, who presented their scholarship programs and lunch-meal sponsorships to help the children of farmers in the Visayas have a crack at life through good quality education. This thrust is very well aligned with that of PNBC’s CSR direction, which is also education.
PNBC supported Tapulanga’s endeavour last year by donating heavy-duty classroom arm-chairs for 2 classes of 30 students each.
This time, to provide continuous learning to the children and their summer break be worthwhile, Tapulanga Foundation, Inc. is holding once again the month-long summer arts workshops and sports camp entitled “The 5th Silay Summer Workshop” on April 13 to May 16, 2015. The target is to have 200 children participants.
Looking at raising Php200,000 to cover the expenses, the foundation is seeking donors, with the following options to those who wish to lend a hand:
• Major Sponsor – Php 25,000
• Minor sponsor – Php 10,000
• Patron – Php 5,000
So far, PNBC member Norconsult Phils. has positively responded to the call for support.
Interested donors may call Tapulanga Foundation’s Executive Director Ms. Micmic Abello-Golez at 0998-1732788. Her email is mgolez@tapulanga.org.
