From One Ambassador to the Next: Welcoming Kristian Netland

Dear members,

We have said our goodbyes to Christian Halaas Lyster and his family. His stint as our ambassador officially came to an end on July 31st. We are now welcoming Kristian Netland and his family, as he is our incoming ambassador to the Philippines.

Kristian has been stationed here before, and he is excited to come back as our ambassador. For our members’ meeting on August 26th, our only task is to let Kristian introduce himself and for us to get to know him better. This will be our first meeting with him, and we look forward to learning about his focus, his priorities and how he and his family intend to spend their time here.

We already know that he wants to visit as many of our members as he possibly can. This is your chance to lock in that visit – before he can present his credentials at Malacañang and the work of being a diplomat gains the upper hand.
