CANCELLATION OF NORWAY-ASIA BUSINESS SUMMIT

It is with much regret the organisers have to inform that Norway-Asia Business Summit scheduled for 21-23 November 2017 in Cebu, Philippines is cancelled.

Philippines Norway Business Council has after thorough discussions and evaluations concluded to cancel the event due to changed circumstances.

A gradual deterioration of the security situation in the Philippines has resulted in several new travel advises and warnings for Palawan and Central Visayas. Previous travel warnings were restricted to Mindanao. The island of Cebu, where the Summit was scheduled to be held, is located in Central Visayas. Based on this a conclusion to discontinue the organising of Norway-Asia Business Summit was made.

Philippines Norway Business Council has from the start been very proud and enthusiastic about organising Norway-Asia Business Summit in the Philippines, but hope for the understanding of the difficult decision made.

Updates will be made available once a decision on where the next Norway-Asia Business Summit will be held.
