JOTUN PLANT VISIT

Dear members,

For our next meeting, we depart for a visit to Jotun.

Jotun, the world’s premier manufacturer of surface coatings (what the rest of us call paints), have a manufacturing facility in Batangas. Our visit there will include an overview of where and how they make their coatings, their focus markets, how they intend to grow here and much more. The production of coatings is like Willy Wonka with colors…

We are grateful to partner with NTC for this visit: They will help us arrange transportation. One bus will depart from the MoA area and another will most likely depart from Makati. We will revert with the exact location for both, and we expect the departure-time to be around 9am.

Note that this is also done for reasons of logistics at Jotun. If we all show up in our cars, we have a mess on our hands. So let’s try to get as many as we can onto the buses.

Due to limited capacity, we need to cap this at 60 participants in total. We ask our members to please do the following:

  1. Sign up two people from each member,
  2. Indicate if you will join the bus in MoA or Makati,
  3. Send a back-up list of 2-3 additional participants, with their place of joining.

We will do our best to bring along as many as we can.

Oh, a light lunch will be served as well at Jotun’s facility – nobody will be starving ?

Colorful regards,
The PNBC Board of Trustees
