CSR Corner: TSM donates Computers to Libis Elem. School

Thome Ship Mgt. (TSM), a bonafide member of the Philippines-Norway Business Council (PNBC) has recently supported the “Used Computers Drive” project of the Council’s CSR Working Group by donating 5 complete sets, which were turned over to the Libis Elementary School in Quezon City last 18 March 2013.

Mrs. Edna Isorena, Principal of the recipient school, wrote PNBC to express their need, and that they are a little behind compared to other schools in terms of computer facilities. “We wish to express our sincerest gratitude to PNBC and Thome Ship Mgt. for unselfishly supporting our 850 elementary level students through this used computers donation. Your focus on education as key result area for your CSR is highly commendable.”

TSM is a brand that had become synonymous to quality, consistency in management and customer service in the shipping/maritime industry. In the Philippines, it runs its own CSR program towards its host communities.
